Welcome to the official website of the Gam-Anon® International Service Office, Inc., serving the community of international meetings of the Gam-Anon Family Groups. Gam-Anon has created this website to provide information for the general public and professional community about problem (compulsive) gambling and its financial and emotional effects on the gamblers' families and loved ones.

The Florida Council on Compulsive Gambling (FCCG) is committed to increasing public awareness about problem and compulsive gambling. The FCCG provides services and support to residents in need of assistance, as well as to professionals and others servicing this population. The organization is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and is one of more than 35 affiliates of the National. GAMBLERS ANONYMOUS is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from a gambling problem. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop gambling.
Meetings
All meetings are open to anyone who is affected by the gambling problem of a family member, loved one or friend. Meetings that are noted as 'combined GA/Gam-Anon' are meetings in which the members of both Gam-Anon and Gamblers Anonymous have joined together to create one meeting.
Some states are divided into geographic areas for convenience in locating meetings. HOTLINES are listed under the state or geographic area. Not all states have HOTLINES. Canada meetings and international information are listed after the states. Meetings meet weekly and are open only to those who are affected by the gambling problem of another unless otherwise noted.

Free Gamblers Anonymous Literature
'Closed Meeting' = Only those with a gambling problem, or those who think they may have a gambling problem, with a desire to stop gambling, are eligible to attend and participate.
'Modified Closed Meeting' = This type of meeting would be the same as a 'Closed Meeting' but the members would vote to include certain groups such as health professionals, guests attending with first time members, and persons with other addictions in need of a meeting.
'Open Meeting' = Spouses, family, and friends of the gambler are welcome to attend and observe the meeting.
